Scholastic Kids

Press Corps Openings

The Scholastic Kids Press Corps, a group of over 50 student reporters from around the country, has covered everything from the 2008 election to the 2010 Olympics and they are looking for reporters from Iowa.

Scholastic Kid Reporters deliver news for kids by kids. They report on current events, breaking news, entertainment stories, and sporting events from their hometowns.

Applicants must be 10-14 years old. Applicants submit an article about what makes their community special, as well as a short essay and story ideas. The SKPC editors select the 2010-2011 Kids Press Corps. Information about the application process can be found at <www.scholastic.com/kidspress>.
